True Light Youth Ministry

Youth MinistryIn the Denver metro area there are many things for students to be involved with. But how much of it has eternal significance? At True Light, our youth ministry aims to help today’s teen walk through their student journey and find spiritual purpose in life.

Youth at True Light enjoy:

  • Youth Worship Service: Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    • The young people gather together to worship the true and living God in their own way.  The service includes praise and worship and small group Bible teaching and relevant discussion.

  • Youth Ministry at True Light Baptist ChurchMiddle School Weekly Bible: Wednesday 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

o   The Middle School Bible study is set up for sixth to eighth grade students who meet for Bible study and other events that relate to our youth. Discussion topics have been centered around, discovering practical tips to overcome fear of embarrassment, deal with mistakes, and failure.  Learn to measure success according to God’s definition.  Showing young people how to work out conflicts over rules, trust, and growing need for independence.  Challenging young people to be the kind of friend Jesus was on earth and feel good about the way they’re made – self-esteem and body image.


  • High School Weekly Bible Study: Wednesday 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • T.R.U.T.H is an acronym that stands for Teens Really Understanding The Holy Truth. This study group of ninth through twelfth grade students discuss a wide range of topics such as Salvation, Evangelism, Peer Pressure, Sex and Sexuality, College and Careers, Drugs and Alcohol, Gangs, etc.


  • Youth Ministry at True Light Baptist ChurchDeliverance Choir: Monday 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • Youth sixth to twelfth grades learning how to worship God through songs.


  • Praise Dance: Saturday (1st, 2nd, and 3rd ) 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • Yeshua Praise Dance Ministry consists of youth in middle and high school come together to express their worship of God through praise dance.


  • Usher Board
    • Youth learn at an early age what it is to be a servant of God’s people.  As they lead worship service, they gain a sense of discipline and a boost in pride while using their gifts and giving back to God.
